Uptown Saturday Night
Uptown Saturday Night is a 1974 action–comedy crime film written by Richard Wesley, and directed by Sidney Poitier. Steve Jackson is a factory worker. One evening, when feeling bored of everything, Steve and his pal Wardell decide to go to an underground gambling club to have some fun. At Madame Zenobia’s illegal nightclub, when Steve Jackson and Wardell Franklin get robbed of their wallets containing a winning lottery ticket, they set out to recover it.
